Bengaluru, Apr 22: The October meeting of member of the Bangalore chapter of Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE), was held on April 16 through a web meeting platform.
The meeting commenced at 7.30 pm, with the KE prayer recited by Stan D’Souza. Following the prayer, president Charles Gomes welcomed all the members from Bengaluru, KE Dubai and the virtual members who had logged in to the web meeting.
Charles drove across a message to the members about the need to network with fellow members and make use of the micro-groups formed in KE for better networking and information sharing.
Director of membership, Pramod D’Souza introduced the following new members who joined KE Bengaluru chapter.

Post completing the member introduction formalities, the platform was opened up for GenNow members who shared their journey of building and growing their tech startups.
Nishad Menezes and Dion D’Sa shared their experience of nurturing Xamplay Edutech, an education platform and how they grabbed the opportunity to explore this field with the growing demand for online education and classes for almost every industry.
Rohit Fernandes, co-founder of Dropshop Network kept the audience occupied with his journey of building a one shop distribution platform for FMCG brands in place of the traditional distributors. He explained how their technology-powered distribution network was able to cover a range of several outlets in every region and industry thereby offering increased sales, stability and growth insights to brands.
Dion, Nishad, and Rohit took questions from the audience and also provided clarity and insights on how one could venture into such startup platforms.
John Kunnath took the members through the series of events that unfolded during the online meeting. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks proposed by president-elect, Clarence Pereira.
