Great job Dubai Konkans. Great initiatives that will reach out so many deserving needy people in your native land. Thousands of people will pray for you in your daily endeavours and in your daily struggles and challenges in the Gulf region. May you all continue to enjoy a peaceful and successful life so that your generosity and your magnanimity will continue to prevail at all times in progress of your native land and our native land. The Internatioal Monetary has proclaimed that Indians all over the world that amount to more than 25 million contribute the largest money repatriated back to their homeland to the tune of 47 billion dollars annually whereas Mexico stands number Two with about 30 billion dollars annually. What a nice and wonderful message to relish on our 63rd Independance Day

It is so heartening to observe that Mangalore (Konkans) have joined together to support a great cause by forming a TRUST to help the Cancer Patients at Father Muller's Hospital. This is a great cause and as expressed by The Director - Father Patrick this is an urgent need on account of which The Hospital is expending five crores of rupees a year. Who can under-write this amount? Who can help FMCI to meet this expenditure. Good to see that Our own in Dubai who have gone all out to collect the funds for the purpose.

Kudos to you James Mendonca and Valerian Peris on your initiative.

A word about Father Patrick Rodrigues. I have had several occasions of meeting him at different times. As expressed by him - he is not doing this work all by himself but with the support of theadministrators of the Hospital, Medical College and also Homeopathy Medical College like Father Denis, Father Richard and Father Roshan along with Father Vincent and other ecclesiastics together with The Doctors/Surgeons,Medical Staff and Nursing Sisters who are with him.

May the successors of Father Muller's be blessed.

It is heartening to note that Mangalore Konkans have initiated yet another humanitarian activity through an endowment at Fr Mullers Hospital. May God bless them all for their good work. Through Daijiworld we have been reading about many such activities of Mangalore Konkans.
All their charity is got through fund raising activities that they organise. There are many organisations / associations in Mangalore too. It would be nice if they too could raise funds for Fr Mullers Hospital and such other charitable institutions in and around Mangalore.

Fr Mullers Hospital is in the forefront of charitable healthcare in Mangalore. I hope successive directors carry forward the good work initiated by Fr Muller over a century ago.

Well done... This is the true example of the HONEST Charity work... no publicity stunt...No politians!!! The other community in UAE should note a point on this event.. Charity work doesn't require a publicity. The other communities are always end of paying more money to the five star hotel and expenses of politians when announcing their great charity work. End of the day the publicity expense (hotel bill) is much higher than the charity amount.
