Sullia, Sep 7: Donimale Radhakrishnha Nayak (46), consumed poison and lost his life on Monday September 6. Reportedly, he was worried about his inability to clear a loan he had raised from the Primary Land Development Bank in Sullia for developing his areca nut plantation. The yellow leaf disease has destroyed his crops.

After he confessed to his wife that he had consumed poison, he was rushed to a local hospital. He however, could not be saved. In her report filed with the policemen, his wife said that her husband used to frequently develop depression over his pending loan and often shared his worries on this account with her.

Hydangoor Appaiah Maniyani (60) hanged himself from a tree in his cashew plantation near his home in Markanja village in the taluk.

He had an ongoing court battle with his mother over a dispute of land ownership. The family said that he committed suicide after learning that the chances of his mother winning the case are bright.

Even one has problem which he or she thinks it cannot be solved, Is ending life is solution.
Debt or loosing the property case, is it the end of world. What about the remaining memebers of the family. What scar the deceased person who ended his life has left to the remaining members of the family.
Is our Nation or the faith in one's religion is not sufficient to give courage, hope to oneself to come out of the problem. Is one's own community has deprived these people in terms of support, moral and emotional.  Sad to hear these type of incidents.
