Obviously my two friends Father Swebert and Father Denzil have extended their stay in Dubai to be present for the Mangalore Konkans function. I am glad that the good work done by The Jesuit Fathers in Mangalore is well appreciated by our friends abroad and more particularly in Dubai. As rightly stated The Beeri project has come a long way in record time - thanks to the all out efforts by EVERGREEN Father Denzil.

It is good to see that the Dubai Association is doing so well under the leadership of Santosh Nazareth. The Association support to St. Aloysius is a step in the right direction. The project at Beeri more than deserves all praise. The monetary support by our Dubai friends is well appreciated.

A lot of work has been done by The Jesuit Fathers and The AIMIT is already in the news but a lot more needs to be done and I am sure Aloysians and Mangaloreans from other parts of middle east follow suit and ensure that Our Alma Mater is supported in every way.

The annual award ceremony to honour distinguished Aloysians has been scheduled for 21st. March and it is my hope that many Dubai-Mangalorans will make it a point to attend this event and take the opportunity to see the Beeri Project.
