Mangaluru: Gold worth Rs 32.73 lacs confiscated at international airport

Mangaluru, Jun 5: The Customs officials at the international airport in city confiscated gold worth Rs 32.73 lacs that was being illegally transported by a Kasargod native passenger.

The passenger had arrived from Dubai and was carrying 624 gram gold of 24 carats in powder form.

Custom officials have taken the man into custody and filed a case in this regard.
