Mangaluru; Feast of Mount of Carmel celebrated at Ladyhill Victoria High School

Mangaluru, Jul 19: The feast of Mount Carmel was celebrated on July 16 by the students of standard X in the Victoria High School Hall.

The programme began by invoking Lord’s blessings through the intercession of Mother of Mount Carmel. The students welcomed the chief guest Tr Bindu and the gathering through the dancing posture and speech.

The importance of the day was presented through the role play. The role play depicted the role of a mother and the sacrifice of Mother Mary through the dance drama. Students praised mother of Carmel through group songs.

Bindu inspired the students through her words on the role of a mother and duty towards mother.

The programme ended by the vote of thanks which was proposed by Jisha Puthran.
