Kasargod: Pre-funeral Shock : ‘Dead’ Man Comes Alive !

Daijiworld Media Network – Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Apr 27: Those travelling in an ambulance along with the mortal remains of a man felt they were communicating with the spirit of the dead man, when he asked for water. Because, they were grieving his death, and were heading for graveyard to conduct his funeral.

The bereaved family was soon enraptured at the fact that the man, who was pronounced dead, was very much alive. The man in question is Narayanan (50) from Nittadkam in Kanhangad. Narayanan had suddenly fallen unconscious near the Hosadurg market near Kanhangad on April 21. He had been rushed to a hospital in Mangalore. Surgery was performed on the man at the hospital. Later, the hospital authorities said that he had died. His body was handed over to his family members. His body was wrapped in a mat, cotton was stuffed into his nose, and the body was being taken to his native place for conducting funeral.

When the ambulance was negotiating Tekkil Road, the man started making signs. Although those accompanying him were taken aback at this unexpected development initially, they recovered soon, and found that he was signalling for water. Once the cotton in his nose was removed, the man started speaking fluently. He was later admitted into a hospital in Kanhangad, where he is learnt to be recovering.

I am saddened that this stupid act has happened in the hands of Mangalorean doctors..!! Medical profession has lost its charm. Everybody needs money and they do not care for patients, they only care for their fees..!!

Nervous Narayana is back! He will live up to 100 years. Might wish he could have died in the days to come because the poor people's lives have become hell in India.

Advice to Narayanan: Please go back to the doctor and ask him why he was d dead!

Daiji, please provide the name of the doctor/hospital.

This funny incident reminds me of a real story where Govt hospital watchman fell unconscious when he saw DEAD MAN walking straight to him from mortuary room.Next day doctor d watchman dead due to heart attack !! Dead man was released immediately.I think it happened in UP hospital.Similar incident happened in Western Country where Jr.Doctor went to mortuary room alone at night to get back his file which he forgot in the morning. He fell unconscious when so called Dead Man asked him why he was kept in motruary room !!

Mangalore is always in the news for all the wrong reasons.
Where are all the so called moral policemen of Mangalore?
Have their masters trained them only to go after Catholics?
Why can’t they now take action against these doctors and hospital?
Are incentives offered only if Catholics are targeted?

This incident is shocking and was least expected from a city like Mangalore which boasts so much of its advances in medical education and medical treatment facilities. Though in states likes Bihar suuch incidents are quite common.

This reminds of a conversation I had with a reputed physician here in Mglore while during a general health chekup schedule wherein he told me that professional education is so much commercialized and money oriented that many of the rich candidates who gain admission by paying heavy capitation fees manage to pass out with fancy degrees by bribing all those concerned without even acquiring the basic knowledge of medicine! Imagine someone like this treating you or your near/dear ones? I wonder how many innocents are killed during their training/internship period? This incident is an eye opener for people blindly going to doctors, nursing homes, hospitals just by getting enchanted with their fancy degrees rather than the competence of the doctors concerned!!

God save our deteriorating education system.....

Wow, since Mr. Yama Dharmaraya banned his entry to the heven/hell, how can you hold doctors or nurses responsible for Narayan's Punarjanma. Lucky that the doctor didn’t postmortem the live body !!!
