    Dear Langoolacharya., Belman/USA,

I have made general comments and why are you annoyed?

As far as Dr. Veerappa Moily or any politicians of the period from 1965 to 1990 concerned, I had the privilege to see and meet them and hence my opinion does not change with some sarcastic comments here or few negative articles elsewhere. Do not overestimate yourself or underestimate others regarding any knowledge.

These personalities were frequent visitors to our house when my father Late Sri Somappa Kunder was alive and hence I had the opportunity to know both the positive and negative side of these people.

You may be having some reason to be sarcastic against Congress politicians of that era but by passing of negative comments again and again can you take away their accomplishments?

    Shrimaan ISMAIL K PERINJE, PERINJE/YANBU-KSA,

Mangalore University is an autonomous body with its own Senate and perhaps syndicate,,, they will decide whom to call for their functions or convocations,,, they do it in such a way so they are in good terms with both Central and state governments( For Grants???),,, Governor has more say in appointments in University than State government.....

Please try to understand University is not Government Dept, where minister could call shots....

Here in this case both Moily and Acharya were invited by University, not invited by either one....

As usual again you are wrong my friend,,, try one more time....

    Enjoy Madi...................

    Regards,

    Langoolacharya.

There are some people who do not waste an opportunity to criticize Dr. Moily and pass sarcastic remarks should read this article.

He is another example how the hard work can reach you to the top post. Today he has reached such a top post in the Government and also the highest decision making body of the ruling party.

As mangaloreans we should all feel proud of this individual.
