Mangaluru, Oct 8: “The state government has allotted two acres of government land to the Nirmala Bharatha Charitable Trust in Konaje University,” alleged All College Association city president Mohammed Adil Ameen.

He was addressing a press meet here on Saturday, October 8.

“The land belongs to the university. The above said land should be returned to the university. The Karnataka government had sanctioned 288.13 acres of land for Mangalore University. But, the state government has reserved two acres of land for Nirmala Bharath Charitable Trust. The state government should drop this plan,” he said.

He also said that Nirmala Charitable Trust was registered in 2003, but it was inactive without social service from 2003 to 2021.
