Mangaluru, Oct 10: Mortal remains of youth, resident of Chembugudde, who went missing since few days was found in Arabian sea near Manjeshwar. Family members have suspected that he was murdered.

Zakir (36), resident of Chembugudde near Thokkottu is the deceased. He was fish merchant by profession and survived by wife, who is seven month pregnant and a seven year old son.

Zakir went missing after he went out of the house on September 26 saying that he would go to Thokkottu and come back. His mobile was switched off. As he could not be traced even after 10 days, his photo and details were uploaded on social media.

Mortal remains of Zakir was found a week ago near Majeshwar in Arabian sea. As the identitiy was not known, it was kept at Mangalpady government hospital mortuary for some days and buried in a nearby mosque as no one claimed the body. Bike of Zakir was found at Someshwar.

Ashraf Harekala, brother of deceased said that Zakir was killed as wounds are found on his body. His mobile is not traced. His body will be exhumed and brought to Chembugudde and buried again.
