Mangaluru: Education Commission of St Lawrence Church, Bondel conducts investor awareness programme

Mangaluru, Oct 10: The education commission of St Lawrence Church, Bondel organised an investor awareness programme on Sunday, October 9, for the general public from 6 45 pm onwards at St Lawrence English Medium School Hall.

Around 115 participants from across different parishes and the locals registered and participated in this informative and valuable session.

Leo Amal A, senior branch manager, Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India) Private Ltd was the speaker during the programme. The session was preceded by a short inaugural programme where the church’s Asst Parish Priest & Principal of the St Lawrence English Medium School, Fr Peter Gonsalves presided.

Prof Louis Manoj, coordinator, education commission welcomed the gathering and Ms Veena Dias, member, education commission proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Suraj Noronha, member, education commission compered the event.

The session was followed by a question and answers from the participants and more so the quality of questions asked, underlined the very essence of this programme. The programme ended with dinner for all participants.

Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, parish priest extended his support and guidance in the smooth conduct of this event.

The education commission of St Lawrence Church plans to organise such investor awareness programmes in different parishes across Mangaluru City and beyond and for the locals of the area.
