Kundapur: Bhandarkar’s College Alumni Form Vande Mataram Sahakari Sangh

Kundapur, May 10: The Vande Mataram Vividoddesha Souharda Sahakari Sangh, launched by the 1984–85 batch of B Com students of Bhandarkar’s College, was inaugurated on Sunday May 8.

Kundapur taluk Co-operative Societies deputy controller K S Siddarth inaugurated the Sangh.

K S Siddarth in his inaugural address said that the 1984-85 batch of BCom students of Bhandarkar’s College created history in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district by organizing the alumni meet on Monday May 2, releasing their directory, and launching their website.

Bhandarkar’s College principal Dhoma Chandrashekar said that it’s a privilege for the college to have such students with clear goals and enterprising abilities.

Journalist U S Shenoy released the fixed deposit certificates. St Mary’s High School headmaster L J Fernandes released the share certificates.

Bhandarkar’s College manager Vittal inaugurated the computer systems.

Professor Mohandas Pai presided over the programme.

Society directors Raju Kotian, Nagaraj Sherigar, Shivamurti Bhandarkar, Chandramati, M Rajgopal, Ozlin Rebello, Vasant Shetty, CEO Jagannat Putran, and S V Arun were also present on the occasion.

Society chairman Vinay Pais compered the programme. Director Dr K Krishna Kanchan delivered the introductory address.
