Airport name: Instead of Mangalore, 'Mangaluru' now official

Mangaluru, Nov 4: The Airport Authority has ordered to change the name 'Mangalore' International Airport to 'Mangaluru' in the records.

Already, in the boards of airport and welcome arch, it is written Mangaluru International Airport. But, in the records of airport authority, it remained as 'Mangalore'.

As the word Mangaluru is being used in the city and business of national and international investors will be easy. Hence, the name has been changed. This will be implemented from December 1, informed sources.
