Udupi: Second district Ranking Table Tennis Tournament to be held on Nov 13

Udupi, Nov 5: Dakshina Kannada and Udupi level District Table Tennies association in conjunction with Udupi Sports and Cultural Foundation and Padukone Table Tennis Center for Excellence is organizing Second District Ranking Table Tournament on Sunday, November 13 in Milagres English Medium School Kallianpur, Udupi.

Speaking about the tournament Rama Kaudoor, of Udupi sports and cultural foundation said, “The tournament will be held in six different age groups and other open categories, boys and girls under 9, boys and girls under 11, boys and girls under 13, boys and girls under 15, boys and girls under 18, men and women above 50 along with men’s and women’s singles will be held. In the first edition of the tournament organized on the occasion of National Sports Day on September 4 at Ajjarakadu indoor tennis stadium, On a single day a total of 15 events were conducted with 309 number of matches played. 47 female and 117 male totally 117 players from across Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts participated in this event”.

The last date of the registration is November 9. The players of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts are eligible to register in this tournament.
