Bangalore, May 12: ‘Jnana Saraswati State Award’ instituted by Jnana Bhandara Academy was conferred on Tulunada Rakshana Vedike head committee president Yogish Shetty.
The award has been bestowed on him in recognition of his social service. He was awarded the same on the occasion of World Labour Day celebration organized by Shree Kashi Vishwanatha Charitable Trust, Hosakote, Bangalore in association with kannada and culture department at Kannada Bhavana, Bangalore on Sunday May 8.
At the ceremony, senior leader M V Rajashekaran, Tumkur deputy commissioner and Jnana Bhandara Academy main sponsor Dr Somashekar, advocate from Bangalore Thimmappa, Jnana Bhandara Academy president G Sadashiv, Suma Saurabha bulletin editor M J Rao, Artiste Sudha Rao and Lecturer Manjula among others were present.
