I Was Never Under Any Kind of Pressure: Wriddhiman

Chennai, May 19 (PTI) His selection in the Indian team may have raised quite a few eyebrows but Wriddhiman Saha is hardly bothered by what sceptics think about him.

After his match-winning 46 against Kochi Tuskers Kerala, the Bengal glovesman said that he was never under any kind of pressure having replaced Shrikant Aniruddha who has played a few useful knocks this year.

"I was never under any kind of pressure. Any given situation suits me fine. My job is to go out there and perform for the team," Wriddhiman told the reporters at the post-match conference.

For someone who is considered to be the best wicketkeeper in terms of technique, Wriddhiman is at ease fielding in the deep.

"When your captain is the main 'keeper you have to be ready to field at any position. I am enjoying my fielding.
