Udupi, May 19: S Nagendra Madhyastha has taken over charge as the new deputy director of public instruction (DDPI) of the district. Madhyastha was hitherto functioning as the in-charge of Akshara Dasoha scheme at zilla panchayat here.
Dr B V Mahidas, who was working as the DDPI of the district, has been transferred as the joint director for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyana’s central office in Bangalore.
