Udupi: Sugar Truck Overturns at Uppoor on NH 17

Udupi, May 19: After series of mishaps reported on national highway 17 near Brahmavar on Wednesday May 18, another accident has been reported near Uppoor here on Thursday May 19.

A truck plying from Honnavar to Mangalore rolled over near Uppoor on NH 17 here on Wednesday May 18 night. The accident occurred as the driver lost control over his vehicle.

The truck was transporting sugar. Both the truck driver and his assistant survived in the mishap.
