Air India to Operate from Heathrow Airport's New Terminal


New Delhi, May 23 (IANS): National carrier Air India Monday said it will shift operations of all its flights to London to the newly built Terminal 4 at the Heathrow Airport from May 24 midnight.

"The first flight to arrive into the swanky new Heathrow's Terminal 4 will be AI-131 from Ahmedabad to London via Mumbai."

The company said that its passengers will be able to avail large check-in and retail area options, while Air India's premium passengers will have access to exclusive lounge.

Air India at present operates all its flights from the Heathrow's Terminal 3.
