Mumbai, Sep 21: Actor Allu Arjun on Monday wished filmmaker Atlee on his birthday, saying he was looking forward to creating more magic with the director of his upcoming film 'Raaka'.

The 'Pushpa' actor shared a monochrome picture with Atlee on his official social media handle, with the two seen sharing a laugh.

Expressing his pride in working with the filmmaker, Allu Arjun wrote, “Happy Birthday to my director @Atlee_dir garu. Extremely proud to work with a director of your vision and calibre. Looking forward to creating more magic.”

Last year, Allu Arjun had also wished Atlee on his birthday by sharing a throwback picture of the two on Instagram Stories. The photograph showed the actor and filmmaker posing against the backdrop of famous Hollywood action figures.

“Happy Birthday to my dearest director @atlee47 garu. May abundance shower upon you. Wishing you all the joy, love, and prosperity. Can't wait for everyone to experience the cinematic magic you're creating,” he had written.

Allu Arjun and Atlee have teamed up for the much-awaited 'Raaka', which also stars Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone as the female lead.

The project marks Allu Arjun's first major on-screen collaboration with Deepika Padukone, who previously worked with Atlee in the blockbuster 'Jawan'.

The film was officially announced on Allu Arjun's 44th birthday on April 8 this year. The makers also revealed that the project, which was temporarily titled '#AA22xA6', had been named 'Raaka'.

The first-look poster features Allu Arjun's face partially covered by a wolf-like claw, with only his sharply focused eyes visible.

Unveiling the first look on social media, the makers wrote, “#AA22xA6 is now #Raaka Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits @alluarjunonline @atlee47 @deepikapadukone.”
