New Delhi, May 24 (PTI) The 28th National Basketball Championship for Youth -- for under-16 boys and girls -- will be held in Nagpur from Thursday, the Basketball Federation of India announced today.
The eight-day competition will be held at the Indoor Stadium in Mankapur and 25 boys teams and 23 girls teams from across the country have confirmed their participation according to the BFI.
"The Youth Nationals will be a great exhibition of the young and upcoming players in the country. These youngsters will become the future superstars of Indian basketball," said Harish Sharma, CEO of the BFI.

Boys: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Pondicherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal.
