Mangalore-Karwar Train to Stop at Kundapur

Kundapur, May 28: The long pending demand of the people of the coastal region have been met with the railway authorities agreeing to provide a stop to Bangalore-Mangalore train which was sometime ago extended till Karwar.

The authorities have finally given a green signal to stop the train at the local railway station after local MP D V Sadananda Gowda pushed the case on behalf of the people. Further authotrities have also agreed to develop the railway station to facilitate better passenger service.

As the first stage towards station development the authorities have decided to install street lights from national highway at Basrur to the station. MP D V has stated that the authorities have agreed to develop the station in stages.

    How can it stop at Kundapur when it isnt even running yet to the place. Could you kinldy give as an when then extended train will run from Bangalore to Karwar
