Mangalore: Project Displaced Families' Indefinite Protest Disrupt Work

Mangalore, Jun 4: The indefinite protest by unemployed youth from Project Displaced Families (PDF) entered fifth day in Suratkal here on Friday Jun 3. The works were disrupted as the protest site was Corridor road.

The PDF youth stopped the movement of vehicles at OMPL, ISPRL and MRPL gate. The proposed corrdior bandh by the PDF youth has been postponed with assistant commissioner Prabhulinga Kavalikatti visiting the spot on Thursday late night.

The security was beefed up in the Cargo gate on Friday.
