India, Holland to Work Closer on Corporate Governance


New Delhi, Jun 8 (IANS): India Tuesday signed an agreement with The Netherlands on strengthening bilateral co-operation in corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.

The agreement was signed by Ambassador Bob Hiensch on behalf of the Dutch ministry of economic affairs, agriculture and innovations and D.K.Mittal, secretary of the Indian ministry of corporate affairs.

The two countries have agreed to establish working groups and sub-groups on corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and other aspects of corporate affairs, a ministry statement said.
