Beltangady, Jun 19: ‘Free book distribution’ programme was jointly organized by Shree Kshetra Padyarabetta Perinje, Friends Club Hosangady and local gram panchayat was held at Hosangady Press Club Hall here on Saturday June 18.

Notebook worth Rs 45000 were distributed to the needy students on the occasion. Shree Kshetra Padyarabetta Trustee A Jeevandar Kumar presided.

Alva's College lecturer and journalist Harish K Adoor spoke on the occasion.

Zilla panchayat former vice-president Dharanindra Kumar welcomed. GP member Hariprasad Baje conducted the programme. Friends Club secretary Shreepathi Bhat delivered the vote of thanks.
