Beltangady: Kumble Sundar Rao Inaugurates 40th Batch of Yakshagana at Dharmasthala

Beltangady, Jun 21: The inaugural ceremony of fortieth batch of Sri Manjunateshwar Yakshagana Training Centre, Dharmasthala, here was held, recently.

Karnataka Yakshagana Academy president Kumble Sundar Rao inaugurated the programme.

D Harshendra Kumar, veteran Yakshagana artistes K Govind Bhat and Anantapadmanabha Bhat were present on the occasion.

The resource persons - Janardhan Kurup Shishila will train the students in mridangam and Tulunadu traditional drums, while Laxman Gowda Belalu will train the students in Yakshagana dance for the 40th academic year.
