Puttur, Jun 21: An entrepreneur committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree here on Monday June 20.
The deceased, Ramesh (45) son of D Shantappa Poojary from Naitadi was the owner of Sridevi Glass and Plywoods, in Boluwar, here.
Ramesh left for his residence in Naitadi from Puttur on his vehicle on Sunday June 19, it is learnt. His body was found suspended form a tree in a near by hillock on Monday June 20.
Eight months back, Ramesh had been on a pilgrimage to the Amarnath Shrine. Returning from his pilgrimage, he was said to be under mental distress. Ramesh's brother Harish in his complaint said that mental distress might have been the reason behing Ramesh's act.
