Mangalore: AIMIT to Conduct Workshop on Research Methodologies

St Aloysius Institute of Management and InformationTechnology (AIMIT) will conduct a week-long Faulty Development Programme (FDP) on research methods for business management and social sciences from July 11.

The workshop is for the benefit of all those who are engaged in research on management, social science and commerce.

The programme will focus on exposing the participants to the philosophies, approaches and methodologies of the research process. Subsequently they would be given an overview of the statistical methods and probabilitly along with sequential facets of the research process.

Takeaways from the programme would be enhanced knowledge of applied statistics and probability that are needed for conducting research, skills for identifying the most appropriate approach to research, identifying the research gaps and translating ideas into research objectives, designing sample plan, analyzing the data.
