Mangalore: BJP Mahila Morcha Urges Implementation of Lokpall Bill in Totality

Mangalore, Jun 24: The Dakshina Kannada district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha held a protest in front of the deputy commissioner's office here on Friday June 24 opposing corruption rampant in the nation.

The mahila morcha members demanded to root-out corruption by taking action on bringing the black money in Swiss banks to India and supporting implementation of the Lokpall Bill in its totality by getting Prime Minister into its ambit. They alleged that the corruption is the outcome of Congress policy that ruled the nation for long. 

They further urged President Pratibha Patil to press the issue of bringing PM into Lokpal Bill's purview with UPA government.

Mahila morcha state vice-president Sulochana G K Bhat, general secretaries Sumana Sharan and Shashiprabha among others led the protest.
