Mangalore: PTA Meeting Held at Rosario High School

Mangalore, June 25: A parent-teacher meet was held at the Rosairo Cultural Hall, Pandeshwar here on June 23 and 24 for the parents of the Rosario High School students.

Speaking to the Parents, Head Master Aloysius D'Souza said that it is their foremost duty to spend quality time with their children. Comparing children with their friends should never be done instead parents should inculcate values of love, care, respect and hard work in them and try to emulate and learn from life experiences of great personalities, he advised.

Nihal Sudeep, Sulaiman Sabith, Irwin Glen Soans, Nihal Steve D'Souza, Wildon Shanbert D'Souza, Sheldon Welbert D'Souza, Akshay Kumar, Prajwal M C and Jaymin Kumar Patel along with their respective parents were honoured for securing distinction.

Leaders for the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for 2011-12 were elected on the occasion after a short cultural programme.

The President of the programme was parish priest of Rosario Church and city varado episcopal vicar Fr Stany Goveas and well-known legal luminary Shirtady William Pinto was the chief guest. PTA President Harold D'Souza and Secretary Shahila D'Almieda among others present on the dais.
