Old story repeating every six months. Let the RTO take stern action against the owner of the bus by confiscating the bus and cancelling the permit to operate on any route. {RTO can consult Yogi for a permanent solution }.

Good initiative on the pa rt of the Police. I also suggest and request that 1. The Private Bus Owners / Drivers / Conductors should also be booked / fined / license revoked for honking / using the whistle recklessly 2. Motor Cyclists who have modified / removed their Vehicle Silencers and speed away putting themselves as well as the others to great inconvenience - particularly the elderly, the children and the animals, should be heavily fined and their licenses revoked 3. Introduce 'NO HONKING ZONES" around hospitals, schools, etc. HELP MAKE MANGALORE A SMART CITY IN IT'S TRUE SENSE

My question is " WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF HORN for city buses???? In olden days few buses were running and in remote places they were using to inform the passengers that bus has come to the stand. In the city horn is funny. Our RTO and Traffic department must educate these drivers and bus owners . That what I believe.

One good thing is, Police only bend down and remove shrill horns dirtying their hands. Drivers can just watch, don't have to take trouble bending down and doing that work.

Very good initiative which should have come earlier. These shrill horns should be banned and the seller should be fined heavily. Enough is enough.

How this happens always like this? Once removed how can the driver install another horn again and repeats it always. Licence of such drivers be cancelled. Further who supplies such shrill horns to the vehicles be fined heavily.
