Kaup, Jul 17: After exactly six hours of his life partner’s death, a man residing in Moodu Irandhadi of Kuthyar village here died of natural death on Friday July 15.
The couple who met each other through death are Oovayya Poojary (73) and Netravati Poojarthi(68), who were earning their daily bread through agricultural activities.
Netravati passed away on Friday at 3.00 pm and the family members were preparing for her last rites. Unable to bear the shock of his wife’s death Oovayya Poojary too breathed his last at 9.00 pm. The couple are survived by three daughters and a son.
Later the last rites of the couple were performed together at Shirva in presence of all the family members.
