London, Jul 21 (IANS): J.K. Rowling, author of the "Harry Potter" books, was given a diamond bracelet as a thank you present from Warner Bros.
The movie studio is grateful that the author allowed them to turn her "Harry Potter" book series into a film franchise.
Warner Bros. CEO Barry Meyer spent millions of dollars on the stunning piece of white gold jewellery made with 40 diamonds. It was given to the author at the after party of the London premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2", the eighth and final instalment of the franchise.
According to TMZ.com, Rowling was so nervous about wearing the bracelet before getting it insured that she was accompanied by a mini-security team at the bash.
