Bantwal: MLA Ramanath Rai Lays Foundation Stone for Hidayat Share & Care Colony

Bantwal, Jul 25: The foundation stone was laid for Hidaya Share and Care Colony, a mega community welfare project of Mangalore-based Hidaya Foundation, at Kavalakatte, near here on Friday July 22.

Haji Abdul Jabbar Musliar, member of Samasta Kerala Education Board laid the foundation stone on four acres plot.  MohamFazil Razvi offered prayers on the occasion. MLA Ramanath Rai presided over the function held at Urdu Higher Primary School, Kavalakatte.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ramanath said that Hidaya Foundation has been undertaking many social welfare programmes.  It has proved that the success will come when the likeminded people join to do yeomen service for the lesser fortunate in the society.

The state Minority Development board president N B Abubakker in his chief guests announced financial assistance for the social welfare project of Hidaya Foundation. Kavalakatte Dr Hazrat Mohammed Fazil Razvi delivered the keynote address.

TP member Padmashekar Jain, Kavalamudur gram panchayat president Yacqoub, Kavalakatte Jumma masjid chairman Sheikh Rehmatulla, Delta Infra Logistics chairman Ahmed Mohiuddin, Hazaz Group chairman Haji G Abdul Khader, Mangalore Presidency Group chairman Hyder Bava, Shahool Hameed, Badruddin Katipalla, Composite Jamaat president S Abbas, Abdul Gafoor and others were present at the dais.

Hidaya Foundation founder president Kasim Ahmed H K in his introductory address said that the foundation has been involved in empowering the poor of the community economically and educationally, with the contributions of community men and women working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

The blue-print has been prepared to construct 40 houses in 2 acre plot on first phase and will be allotted to poor families within the community when it’s ready.  The foundation has future plans to provide housing to physically and mentally-challenged community brethrens, added Kasim Ahmed.

MLA Ramanat distributed Ramzan kits to the community’s economically poor families at the same occasion. Vanamahotsav was celebrated on the construction site by MLA Ramanat and other dignitaries through planting plants after the stage programme.

Moulana Abul Hassan read the Holy Scripture.  Hindaya Foundation executive committee convener Haji G Mohammed Hanif welcomed the gathering.  Ummer U S proposed vote of thanks.  Abdul Razak Anantady compered the programme.
