Bantwal: Nirkan church condemns violence in Manipur through silent protest

Bantwal, Jul 25: A silent protest was held on July 23 after the Mass on behalf of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Nirkan Unit, condemning the inhumane acts occuring in the Manipur state. 

Fr Leo William Lobo, parish priest - Nirkan church; Stany Lobo - immediate past president, Alphonse Fernandes - immediate past treasurer, Catholic Sabha Mangalore diocese; Vincent Bennis, vice president and Shanthi Veigas, secretary of Nirkan Parish Pastoral Council; Austin Lobo, president - Catholic Sabha Nirkan unit and convenor of commissions of Nirkan church; office bearers of Catholic Sabha Nirkan Unit and all parishioners were involved in this protest.
