Mangaluru: Three-day workshop on EUREKA inaugurated

Mangaluru, Aug 4: Center of Excellence for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell, PACE, Mangaluru, is organizing a three-day workshop on 'Research, Writing and Publishing in Reputed Journals (EUREKA)' on August 3-5.
 
The workshop was inaugurated on August 3 in the multipurpose hall, PACE, Mangaluru. The workshop is aimed to equip research scholars and academicians with essential skills and knowledge related to research writing, publication and dissemination.
 
 
Chief guest, Dr M Abdul Mujeebu, associate professor, College of Architecture and Planning, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, inaugurated the workshop. In his inaugural address Dr Mujeebu emphasized the importance of effective research writing and its significance in contributing to the advancement of knowledge and academic excellence.
 
He also highlighted the need for researchers to adopt high-quality research practices and ethical writing standards to ensure credibility and impact in their area of research. Guest of honour, Dr Azizuddin Sultani, International Postdoc Fellow, Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri, explained the qualities and best practices a good researcher has to develop to achieve success in his research work.
 
Sharfuddin P K, AGM (campus) was the guest of honour. Dr Ramis M K, principal, gave the presidential remarks. Prof Fathimath Raihan, faculty in CSE department welcomed the gathering. Dr Prashanth Pai M, convener of Eureka, introduced Dr Mujeebu to the gathering. Prof Kavyashree, faculty in civil engineering proposed the vote of thanks.  Prof Shama A, faculty in CMSR compered the programme.
