Udupi: Cong delegation commends cops for crackdown on illegal pubs, bars in Manipal

Udupi, Aug 28: A delegation from the Udupi Congress party extended their congratulations to DSP Akshay Hakay for his resolute action against illegal pubs and bars operating in Manipal. The delegation not only commended the ongoing efforts but also urged him to maintain vigilance against similar activities and continue enforcing necessary actions in the days to come.

The delegation further paid a visit to DC Dr Vidya Kumari, conveying their request for her cooperation in combating the menace of drugs and unlawful activities. Dr Kumari assured the delegation of her full support and commitment to taking robust actions in this regard.

In their pursuit to reinforce their stance, the delegation also held discussions with police inspectors Devaraj and Raghavendra.

Prominent members of the delegation included Kishan Hegde, Kushal Shetty, Sadashiva Ameen Kattegudde, Keerthi Shetty, Sukesh Kunder, Prashanth Poojary, Chandra Mohan, Sai Raj Kotian, Hamad Ahmed, Surendra Achar, Supreet Suvarna, Lakshman Poojary, Girish Indrali, and other notable figures.
