Bantwal: Higher traffic density due to 4- lane work – Police register case against contractor

Bantwal, Aug 28: Traffic density has been increasing by the day at Melkar and Kalladka due to the ongoing four-lane works. Vehicle Nos KA-70-4212 and
KA-21-C-3047 and a road roller were stopped in between the road under the guise of road repairs at Melkar obstructing smooth flow of traffic.

No signboards were put up and police were not informed of the work.
 
Therefore, Bantwal traffic police have registered the case number 119/2023
under IPC Section 283 against the road construction contractor.
