Mangaluru, Aug 30: Sushma Janardhana (56), former zilla panchayat chairperson and senior representative of Life Insurance Corporation of India, breathed her last on Wednesday, August 30 evening, following a battle with illness.

Her passing has left a void in both local governance and the insurance sector.
