Mangaluru, Aug 31: A district level educational conference for 2023-24 was held at Mangaluru’s S V S pre university college auditorium under the participation of district P U college principal’s association and S C S Pre University College on Thursday morning, August 31.

The programme was presided over by district education department deputy director C D Jayanna. MLA S L Bhojegowda inaugurated the programme and specially felicitated Deralakatte Shivas College founder president Dr Shivarama K Bhandary. Retired principals Premalatha M, Ismael T, Ahalya K, Madhukar Salins, Yusuf D and Gopalakrishna too were honoured on the occasion. Scholarships were distributed to 27 eligible students.

SCS educational institute management officer U K Khalid, Excel educational institutes president Sumanth Kumar Jain, district P U education department’s Nithin B T, district P U college principal’s association vice president Vittal A, Sudheer, Vinayaka B G, secretary Yusuf Vitla and treasurer Kavita were present.

SCS P U College principal Dr D Sripathi Rao welcomed. Dr Kabbinale Balakrishna Bharadwaj compered the programme. District P U College principal’s association president K S Gangadhar Alva rendered a vote of thanks.
