Mangaluru, Sep 1: Renowned Kannada writer and translator from Mumbai Shyamala Madhav will be delivering a lecture in ‘Through My Window’ series programme of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, being organised in the city by Konkani Writers and Artists Association.
Shyamala will speak on the life and contributions of her great grandfather late Sardar Uchila Aloysius Kannapa - eminent writer, scholar and publisher to language, literature and culture.
The programme will begin at 3.30 pm at Gelge Hall, St Aloysius College, Mangaluru and Dr Praveen Martis, principal, St Aloysius College will inaugurate the session.
Executive council member of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi poet Melvyn Rodrigues will be present.
