Kasargod: Stones pelted at running train again

Kasargod, Sep 2: Stone pelting incident has recurred in the district.

Stones were pelted on Netravati express that was moving from Thiruvananthapuram to Mumbai between Kumble and Uppala.

Stones were pelted at S2 bogie and the window panes were broken. However, passengers escaped unhurt. Railway Protection Force of Mangaluru have rushed to the spot. Kumble police are also investigating.

Stones were pelted on August 16 at Kannur on Vande Bharat express and on August 24 on Yeranad Express at Thalasseri. Many incidents of stone pelting are reported between Kasargod and Kannur in the past few months.
