Udupi: Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar helps injured student hit by unidentified vehicle shift to hospital

Udupi, Sep 2: Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, who helped two youths last Monday at Chamrajnagar to shift to the hospital as they were injured in an accident, involved in one more Good Samaritan act on Saturday.

As Hebbalkar was returning to Udupi after partaking in the Platinum jubilee celebration of Belapu agricultural cooperative society saw a student injured in a road accident as he was hit by an unidentified vehicle while crossing road near Kaup cross. Hebbalkar immediately stopped her car, ensured that he gets first aid and made him sit in an auto-rickshaw that was standing nearby and got the student shifted to the hospital.

The act of minister was lauded by locals.
