Mumbai: Second day of Krishna Janmastami celebrated at Gokula, Sion

Mumbai, Sep 8: The Krishna Janamastami was celebrated for the second day at Gokula, Sion by the BSKB association and Gopalakrishna Public trust on September 7.  Several poojas and rituals were held with pomp and gaiety.

Former managing director and chief executive of Karnataka bank, M S Mahabaleshwara Bhat was the chief guest. BSKBA president Dr Suresh S Rao and office bearers awarded ‘Vipra Bhooshana’ title on behalf of the trust to Mahabaleshwara Bhat for his valuable service to the banking industry.



Temple chief priest Vedamurthi Srinivas Bhat Dharegudde led the rituals. Gokula priest Ganesh Bhat, co priest Guruprasad Bhat and other priests performed poojas and distributed Theertha Prasada.

BSKBA first lady Vijayalakshmi Suresh Rao, vice president Vaman Holla and Avinash Shastri, secretary A P K Pothi, treasurer CA Haridasa Bhat and other office bearers, members and devotees were present in large numbers.
