Bantwal, Aug 13:
Chief minister Sadananda Gowda on Saturday August 13 visited Shree Rama Vidya Kendra, Kalladka and took part in a Raksha Bandhan programme.

Addressing the gathering, Gowda said that he had served as an RSS worker where he developed a sense of punctuality and sincerity, and added that senior leader of RSS Dr Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka had always guided him.

"When I was the president of the party, Bhat encouraged me to lead the party. Even now he supports me and advises me to walk on the path of righteousness. The wishes of Sangha leaders have driven me to success," he said.

Dr Prabhakar Bhat expressed his happiness over Gowda's elevation to the chief minister's post. "The people of this state have lots of expectations from him. At this juncture, when Hindus are countering many challenges, there is a need for solving their problems. The state should be number one in development," Bhat said.

Minister Krishna J Palemar, MLA Capt Ganesh Karnik, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, ZP president Shailaja Bhat, BJP district unit president Padmanabh Kottari, DC Channappa Gowda among others were present.

BJP party workers welcomed the CM by garlanding him near the BJP office in BC Road.

It is a well-known fact that RSS is anti-muslim, anti-christian organisation. What can be expected from this CM who also belongs to this organisation?
Bishop Bernard Moras went and gave him flowers and requested him to release the people who are in prison for the 2008 church attack case. But only time will tell whether Gowda will really do something for the minorities in Karnataka or follow in the footsteps of his predecessor .
