Mangaluru: Poetica  Kavigoshti – 21 held at St Vincent Ferrer Church Conference Hall

Mangaluru, Oct 1: The renowned poets' group – POETICA – had  organized its 21st Kavigoshti at St Vincent Ferrer Church Conference Hall, Valencia on September 28 at 4:30 pm.
 
The  ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Fr Richard Lasrado,   Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank, Naveen Pereira, admin of Poetica poets group,  Ronald Rodrigues , dramatist, vice president, Valencia Parish Council, senior Konkani writers  Marcel D'Souza  and  Richi Lasrado, moderators of the Kavigoshti and the hero and heroine of the Konkani movie Osmitay, Ashwin D'Costa and Wencita Dias, who added charm to the event. 

















 
Anil Lobo, the chief guest, delivered an inspiring keynote speech, emphasizing the program's significance and encouraging the poets and poetesses gathered for the event.

A symbolic ceremony, such as the handing over of the event's file by Rev. Fr Richard Lasrado  to Mr. Roshan Crasta and Mrs Preetha Miranda the program moderators, marked the official launch of the program.
 
Mementos were distributed to the chief guests as token of gratitude. In total, 22 poets and poetesses presented their poems. Christopher Roshan Lobo’s Chris Ben Music sponsored Best Poem prize was won by Eddi Cardoza Tacode  All the poets and poetesses were honored with mementos and book by the dignitaries by the end of the program. Walter Dantis, a well-known poet , lyricist, compered the program.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Naveen Pereira, the administrator of the Poetica group.
