Bicentenary celebration of Mother Veronica, founder of Apostolic Carmel held Paldane Church

Mangaluru, Oct 1: The bicentenary of Venerable Mother Veronica, founder of the Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel, was celebrated on Sunday, October 1 in 183 convents worldwide. The sisters of Shanti Vihar Convent in Paldane here marked the occasion during the morning's Holy Mass at St Teresa Church, led by parish priest Fr Alban D'Souza.

The Apostolic Carmel sisters paid tribute to Mother Veronica by offering floral wreaths. The Superior of the convent, Sr Maria Assumpta, Sr Mildred, Sr Adelsia, Sr Stella Mary and Sr. Jini Jacob were present.
