Mumbai, Aug 21: After the phenomenal success of Delhi Belly, producer Aamir Khan is mulling its sequel, according to his nephew Imran Khan who played the lead role in the film.
He also revealed that Kiran Rao was scripting Delhi Belly's sequel, but refused to divulge on what the story would focus or whether he would be a part of it.
But Imran did express his wish to be part of the sequel. "I would love to be a part of it," he said.
He, however, cautioned that it may not be as easy as it sounds. Sequels don't always work, and to keep up the tempo and the spirit of the first movie is a challenging task for the entire crew, he said. If that doesn't happen, the movie will lose its appeal.
Nevertheless, he clarified, "I’m not saying that’s what could happen to Delhi Belly too, it’s just a concern I’m expressing."
