Udupi: Police conduct route march in city ahead of Hindu Samajotsava

Udupi, Oct 9: The Udupi district police conducted a route march in the city on Monday, October 9 ahead of the Hindu Samajotsava the next day.

The route march was held from Sharadaha Kalyana Mantapa till Udupi City bus stand.

The Hindu samajotsava has been organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal in city on Tuesday, October 10.

Around 400 police personnel consisting of Udupi district police, KSRP, DAR, and police from Karwar district took part in the route march.

S T Siddalingappa, additional superintendent of police, Udupi district, Dinakar P K, deputy superintendent of police, Manjunath M, circle inspector, Manjappa D R, police inspector, Udupi town station and others were present during the march.
