Governor arrives in Udupi, BJP delegation pays honour

Udupi, Oct 10: Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot arrived in the city to attend the birthday celebration of the late Kota Shivarama Karanth.

Gehlot will take part in various programmes during his visit. After partaking in the birthday celebration of Kota Shivarama Karanth, the governor will visit Kollur Sri Mookambika temple and return to Bengaluru via Mangaluru International Airport.

Gehlot was felicitated by BJP delegation. Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak, district BJP leaders offered floral bouquet to the governor.

Udaya Kumar Shetty, MLAs Yashpal Suvarna, Gurme Suresh Shetty, Gururaja Gantihole, former MLA Raghupati Bhat, Pramod Madhwaraj, Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty, Raghavendra Kini and Poonima Suresh were present.
